“Contaminazioni” is an independent Festival created by, and for, the students attending the National Academy of Dramatic Art “Silvio D´Amico” in Rome. It was founded in 2007 in order to give us the opportunity to experiment freely and to collaborate with students of other Roman institutions belonging to AFAM (Higher Artistic and Musical Institutions). The Festival´s aim is to create not only theatrical projects but also to promote a contamination among different artistic disciplines.

The Festival will take place from Tuesday 18th September to Sunday 23rd September at Teatro India, in Rome.

We want to open our Festival TO YOU and give you the chance to take part in it.

• The project must not exceed 40 minutes in length;

• Set preparation on stage and its takedown must each be done within 10 minutes;

• Each project-group can be made up of two to five people;

• The title holder of the project will be in charge of maintaining contact with the Organizing Committee;

• The National Academy of Dramatic Art “Silvio d´Amico” will give a €100 grant to each participant;

• The Organizing Committee will select up to two projects;

• Participants are free to express themselves in any way they wish.
